When Shyness Means A Disorder

I stumbled upon this article on yahoo. It's quite disturbing that this is really happening. What we parents think as mere shyness of our children would actually mean a disorder which is so-called "selective mutism".
Please read on to learn more about this disease.

A Hundred Million Dollars in an ATM?

If this is true, then this guy must be very wealthy! But to leave such big amount in a personal savings account? I don't think that's smart. There must have been a mistake, or not!

Another day with Primary Complex

A week after my children had their X-ray, us (the old ones), had our x-rays as well. Thankfully, me, my hubby and my brother are all negative with tuberculosis and we all have clear lungs. But still we're sad because of our children has primary complex. Only our second child was spared of the disease. Now we're still waiting for my mom to arrive (she's in my sister's house) so she can have her x-ray as well.
After the doctor has seen the results of our x-ray, he told us that we still need to undergo the sputum test. Though the x-ray results showed we have clear lungs. He said this is the procedure that needs to be followed. Now we're having second thoughts. We decided that whoever shows positive on the x-ray will be the one to take the sputum test. When x-ray result shows negative, then be it.
As for now, my children are under medication. They use the same medicines but with varying amounts depending on their ages. It's a lot of hard work but it's all worth it.
Another update soon as my mom is done with her x-ray.
